Potting,re potting,de potting....

Hi all!
Yesterday was great day,,cold but sunny,no wind for change, and same today.Love that kind of weather,,in winter of course.
Started repot my pellies at end of January, now i'm very close to finish all that.Still looking for best compost possible to find in garden centers here in Ireland,so if you know good peat free one,,give me a shout.
Right now I find only one where is 50%/50% peat and compost(Westland John Innes nr 2 potting on compost),,adding same amount of Living green worm compost, and little bit of grit, because Westland John Innes nr 2 feels very sandy. Can see pots dry out fast.Worm compost by the way is produced here  in Ireland,in Co.Donegal
  Some photos from yesterday:
Moved my orchids in better place,

That huge succulent plant is Kalanchoe 'Tessa',budding right now,,it have very pretty red flowers.

I hope you can see how light in colour is John Innes compost beside worm compost.
                                                      Repotted and happy,,i hope :)
Zonartic pellies doing really well in this time of year.

This nursery side is almost full  today.

Propagation experiment nr1.

Its winter, long evenings so i have time to read.Going trough my new-old pelargonium books,i found some new for me interesting propogation ways.Very similar to them what i use in garden, with other plants, but newer thought to use them on pellies.
Because winter is soooo long,,and my fingers getting 'gardening itchy' i had to try one of tips..My windowsills are occupied by orchids ,i had to chose one what not take much room, because cuttings need warm environment i had to keep they in.
I will show you in photos what i did and how :) So fingers crossed it will works.

I had 2 same variety plants, there is one of them.
After cutting back,i used cinnamon as fungicide.
                                                       All together 9 cuttings
Tool what i used for taking cuttings.
                                       Cleaned and ready
                                         Take cling film.
Lay about 1 cm tick layer with moist                sphagnum moss, cuttings on top.
And cover cuttings same on top
                                             Bend over cling film
                                              Like that
                                               And roll it :)
I have now 2 nice pelargonium rools :)

                                     Label them,date on.
Ready for going in,actually they now it 2 tea cups :)

New pelargonium. 'Fru Marklund'

Thanks to Annelie from Sweden, yesterday i got parcel with unrooted  cuttings of very beautiful old pelargonium.
Annelie's mum got it as cutting from her neighbor on far 1949,and Annelie named it after her neighbor 'Fru Marklund',from where it originally come.
It have very vigorous growth,first proof-being wrapped in moist paper towel it grown roots from new shot while was on way to me :)
So wish me best of luck, and i hope i will be able to show you flowering plants next summer.
